Diversamente da Russia 2028, Sector 23 punta senza veli alla chiara e manifesta riproposizione di S.T.A.L.K.E.R non solo nelle ambientazioni (la Zona di Esclusione intorno alla centrare di Chernobyl) ma anche nei contenuti e nella trama, divenendo una sorta di remake del titolo dei GSC tramite il Cry Engine.

Il rilascio della prima parte (completa ora al 75% !), come i lettori potranno constatare da sè, è fissato per la Primavera 2011; non ci resta quindi che aspettare, gustando nel frattempo un po' del solito materiale multimediale per alimentare la fantasia, ma prima riportiamo la lista parziale delle feature del mod:
